We meet every Tuesday Evening in Luther Hall at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. We start gathering at 6:30 with the presentation of colors shortly there after. After colors are presented, we break up into two groups, Webelos I and Webelos II, for our individual program. This can consist of projects, planning, or just having fun

Boys are to bring den dues of 50 cents per Tuesday night. This is used to offset the expense of projects, token awards, and various supplies. Scouts are encouraged to bring their dues with them to the meeting, and try not to ask Mom or Dad at the door as they are walking in. This will get boys thinking about the Scout Motto "BE PREPAIRED". Den Dues should be earned by doing extra tasks around the house. If you have any questions please ask!

Each group of Webelos has a Denner. This is sometimes the scout’s first exposure to leadership. The denners will lead our flag ceremony, assist the leader, make sure everybody signs in and collects den dues. Denners are changed every other month or close to that, and everyone should be a denner at least twice.

If you have not caught on by now, we are trying to run the Webelos den like a mini Boy Scout troop. This will help make the transition to Boy Scouts a lot easier. When your son bridges, they will be going into an environment they are familiar with right away.

The boys are in two groups, not Webelos I or II's but Lightening Den, and the New Cobra Den. The Lightening Den is the older boys and will be crossing over to Boy Scouts within a few months. The Cobra Den is the newest group of boys and we'll be having lot's of fun camping, working on crafts, and projects to earn rank.

Meetings usually last about 45 Minutes and we should be finishing by 7:30 with a closing song, skit, or something scout worthy. Please come in and join the fun.

Most of the Activity Awards (Fitness, Citizen, or Ready Man have some area for the parents to become involved. These areas are called Character connection. I will be sending home worksheets with the boys for the particular activity we are working on. The line items that are highlighted are for the parents to work with. You may sign-off in your son's Webelos book in these areas.

Again, if you have any questions please ask!
